YABBA is an all-female, mixed cultural reggae band.
Its members come from various musical backgrounds ranging from African, Roots-Reggae, Soul and Gospel Music.
The singers have toured with various popular bands like OSIBISA and AMAZULU.
The band's music influences are Reggae, African music, Soul and Gospel, underpinned by a solid reggae backbeat.
YABBA want to celebrate togetherness, good humour and spiritual awakening, through their own compositions, as well as selected cover versions which many people know and can sing along to, therefore appealing to a wide age group.
The members of the band, some of them experienced workshop leaders, are happy to pass on their skills to young people in the community who want to develop their musical skills and understanding.
