GLOW
     Glow blend sounds and influences from around the world into song-based dance music ranging from fast, stompy beats to slower chilled grooves with lyrics in English and Portuguese. Glow formed in '95 and since then have written and recorded two albums; "and are currently working on their third.

    Gigs have included Whirl-y-gig, Megatripolis and Altered States (Heaven), Salon Oriental, The Barbican (Music Alliance Conference), Alleycat Live (supporting Asian Dub Foundation), Mad Love, HQ Club, The Festival of Music, Thought and Art, Céaucé, One World Festival , Stoke Newington Midsummer Festival, Kingston Green Fair , The Big Green Gathering, Glastonbury, and WOMAD, Joao's native Portugal for the first time at the Vilar de Mouros Festival. Their music can be heard regularly on the Charlie Gillett show on GLR radio, UK, and has had national airplay in Portugal on Antena 3 (Nuno Galopim) and Radio Comercial (Joao Pedro Bandeira) and has been played in clubs throughout Europe by DJ's such as Nelson Dilation. They have also appeared on local and regional TV. Glow have built up a reputation for exhilarating live shows sprinkled with heart-stopping moments, playing on their own or with varying members of a pool of guest musicians and dancers, The Department of Luminosity.
