De Champ's group is an eight piece band, established in 1991. It comprises Sierra Leone's top musicians, and plays mostly Zouk, calypso, soukous and highlife music.
The band had a successful tour in England in 1995/96. In April 1996, De Champ and band by popular choice, was invited to perform at the Houston International Festival in Texas, United states of America, as the representative for Sierra Leone. The group has performed excellently in all live performances.

De Champ continues to excel and he is undisputedly one of the best in this field of music
