The Caribbeans steel band,
All members coming originally came from St. Kitts. The band started out as a hobby, playing traditional West Indies music, for they all wanted to keep up memories of home. Their first bookings were at Working Men's Clubs, Birthday Parties, Weddings and Barbecues. The group became more established when they appear on Opportunity Knocks with the Grunbleweeds and Fortunately became first on Hughie Green's show. Following in Germany where they performed at the American army camps. They also toured in the Middle East and perform in hotels and clubs. in Great Britain they have entertained the Royal her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Windsor and Princess Margaret, played at race courses, carnivals, restaurants, golf clubs and performed with Alan Price, The Fortunes, Van Morrison, Marmalade, The Drifters, The Real Thing, The Foundations, Little & Large, Cannon & Ball, Marti Caine, Paul Daniels and The Two Ronnies and many more. The group repertoire covers many different styles including Calypso, Reggae, Soul, Latin American and Rock 'n Roll. You name it and they can play it!!
