Originally formed back in the 1970's as Black Gorilla, and renamed in 1984, Axis are a five-piece multipurpose function / soul band with an immaculate pedigree. Following their chart success with Gimme Dat Banana and subsequent appearance on Top Of The Pops in 1978, the band have performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK and Europe, including major holiday centres, hotels and UK and American military bases, with many "support" appearances with major artists to their credit. The band features both male and female vocals, guitar, bass and drums, with keyboards provided via the latest digital backing.
