Alfred Kari Bannerman one of the best African jazz lead/ rhythm guitarist Over the course of two decades his credits include recording and touring with Osibisa, and with some of West Africa's best bands- from legends E. T. Mensah, Late S.E. Rogie, Pat Thomas, A.B Crentsil, Kojo Antwi, Bunny Mack, he has also performed with jazz and blues, Ronnie Laws, Hugh Masekela, and Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac. Alfred Kari Bannerman's musical influences converge in his Band "Boombaya" a fresh and contemporary approach to highlife, one that retains its soul and swing, adding jazz and urban music and modern sound.
